We always keep the patient in mind during the high-tech, high-touch exam

Whilst our new instrumentation can provide a high-tech, high-touch exam, our Consultants never  lose sight of the “human interaction” at the basis of the Optometrist / Doctor-patient relationship. “ We always keep in mind the end users of this technology, our patients, and their perception of technology,” advises Charles Babumba. We reassure the patient when their eye health is normal, he says, rather than launch into an excited recitation of the test results.

In our presentation to the patients, we explain in lay terms and explain what is happening inside their eye by showing them the visual images of their test /scan results.
