Road Safety Week – have your eyes checked before you drive

That’s why optical practices support Road Safety Week to urge drivers to take regular eye tests.

Many say that compulsory regular eye tests for driving licence holders are way to increase safety for themselves, but mainly for other road users. Pedal cyclists are particularly in danger, as for example in Lancashire they accounted for 10% of killed or seriously injured.
