Improved Vision IS Possible After Optic Nerve Damage
Improving your life with Restored Vision
Are you struggling to improve your vision after optic nerve damage?
The impacts of deteriorating vision can be devastating, and many people give up hope after being told by their health-care providers that there is nothing that can be done to improve their failing eyesight. But this is not always true. Vision improvement is possible for many who suffer from optic nerve damage.
The Fedorov Restore Vision Clinic, in Berlin (Germany), was founded by Dr. Anton Fedorov in 2015 to deal with vision restoration for visually impaired patients suffering from optic nerve damage, abnormal retina and brain disorders. Patients attending the Clinic benefit from Dr. Fedorov’s over 25 years’ experience treating patients and researching and developing methods for vision recovery. His unique approach to treatment – Fedorov Restoration Therapy―has helped since 1995 for thousands of people improve their limited eyesight.
Who are our patients?
We help patients with visual disorders see the world around them. We know that those with optic nerve damage have mostly accepted living with reduced vision. This isn’t necessary. Fedorov’s Therapy helps!
Vision loss from optic nerve damage can occur at any age, in people of various levels of health, and with a multitude of conditions. What IS common among those who suffer from optic nerve damage is that most become resigned to living with poor or no sight, believing that their condition is untreatable. Hope, however, should not be abandoned. We have shown through our clinical studies and the experiences of our patients that damaged optic nerve and retinal cells have the capacity to provide more function; meaning that vision loss can be improved.
At the Restore Vision Clinic we deal vision restoration from many conditions believed to be untreatable, including ischemic optic neuropathy, optic neuritis, glaucoma, retinitis pigmentosa, eye and brain trauma, brain tumour, optic nerve hypoplasia, Leber’s hereditary optic neuropathy, limited eyesight caused by hydrocephalus.
Fedorov Restoration Therapy
Fedorov Therapy is a non-invasive, non-surgical and safe way to naturally restore or improve vision, with stable outcomes and without risks of side effects.
Our Therapy combines the science of ophthalmology and neurology to help restore lost eyesight from optic nerve damage. Our achievements in vision restoration are accomplished through the application of weak electrical current pulses which stimulate partially-damaged retinal cells and improve the conductivity of signals to the brain.
Fedorov Therapy can’t replace damaged cells or regenerate optic nerves; instead it increases the functionality of preserved cells on the retina and enhances the activity along optic nerves.
What benefits can you expect from Fedorov Therapy?
Fedorov Restoration Therapy is grounded in over 25 years of scientific research and clinical experience. Our treatment has helped thousands of patients improve lost vision.

Your questions answered?
How much improvement should I expect?
Full vision recovery is possible if there is only minor damage to the optic nerves. When the damage is moderate or severe, only partial improvement must be considered. Most patients, however, with only partial improvement enjoy a significantly improved quality of life as they are able to do many things that were not possible before treatment. For progressive medical conditions like Glaucoma, Retinitis Pigmentosa Fedorov Restoration Therapy has a possibility to slow down a deterioration over-the-time.
How quickly will I see results?
Most patients notice initial positive changes or mild improvements in vision during Fedorov Restoration Therapy in Berlin but more significant, stable and live improving results usually can be seen in two to three months once treatment is completed. In many cases, vision will continue to improve for up to six months. Additional courses of treatment can allow a patient to regain even more vision.
How long do the improvements last? Are they permanent?
The resulting improvements in vision are typically stable, with follow-up results one year after treatment showing 80% to 85% stable improvement. Instability in results can occur if there are underlying factors that continue to negatively affect a patient’s vision (e.g., elevated eye pressure for glaucoma patients.
Is Fedorov Restoration Therapy painful?
Absolutely not. More than 90% of patients have absolutely no painful sensations during treatment. Highly sensitive people may feel some moderate tingling.
What are the possible side effects or complications?
The safety of this therapy was confirmed in clinical trials conducted in Germany in 2007 to 2013, and in a large group of patients treated in Russia in 1991 to 2004. Side effects from Fedorov Restoration Therapy only result when a patient has conditions that make the therapy inadvisable (i.e., contraindications). If such contraindications are excluded, as they are through our Patient Qualification Process, there is no risk of adverse effects on vision or any other functions. Some undesired effects such as tiredness, weakness, a short-lived headache and sleep disturbances have been observed, but do not require treatment.
How to become a patient?
Our thorough Patient Qualifying Process helps us predict the possibilities for vision improvement.
To make sure Fedorov Restoration Therapy can be of benefit, we need to learn more about you. We will assess whether your medical condition(s) will respond favourably to treatment, and estimate the extent and nature of the benefits that can be expected.
