Charles recently attended the British Contact Lens Association exhibition and conference as a delegate at The Manchester International Conference Centre. Guest speakers and renowned lecturers from all over the world were in attendance, giving talks on the recent cutting edge developments in optometry and ophthalmology.

The talks covered HIGH DEFINITION contact lenses that Charles and City Eyes have been interested in for some time. These lenses make use of the latest wavefront technology to determine your prescription, and use High Definition wave front technology.

The highlight of the conference was the talk given by Sir Clive Woodward of Elite Performance, and former coach of England's Word Cup winning rugby team. The theme of his talk was "BE THE BEST YOU CAN" and touched on how he ensured that his World Cup winners were not only equiped mentally and physically, they also underwent vigorous eye training exercises, and used the very best optical and eyecare products to give them a cutting edge over the opposition.
